Oh wow, it's been awhile, hasn't it?  I've been on a bit of a hiatus due to getting distracted with kids, health, life, etc, but am starting to crawl back from the brink and have even been playing around with doing some more sculptural work again, finally.  This latest piece was an experiment with polymer clay - I've been trying to find materials to work with that are a bit more flexible as far as being able to work with them while watching the kids, working in smaller/scattered chunks of time, and being able to drop it to deal with whatever chaos is going on and return to it when peace and tranquility has been restored.  The polymer clay seems to fit the bill at the moment, and after some experimenting, I have some other ideas I want to explore with it, to see how far I can push it.  Anyhow, this is my latest piece:
